My personality is ENTJ. While I may not look like an Extrovert, I am very open to a select only few of people whom I trust. I agree that I am an Intuitive more than a Sensor because I dislike making decisions on what I only know currently, and I would prefer to question myself and imagine different scenarios to see which scenario is most suitable. I am extremely logical and rational, and I dislike having emotions in the way of making a decision. I also value organization and plans more than “going with the flow”, because I like to be in control of the situation. One example of my ethical principles is honesty. Mark Twain once said, “If you tell the truth, you don’t have to remember anything.”
I failed my Higher Chinese term test once in Secondary 2. I was not too bothered by it back then, for it was just a mere term test. However, my mom wanted me to do better. Therefore, I worked hard, and I got an A1 for the next term test. I remembered that my teacher even congratulated me for being the most improved student. The truth is that it was not extremely difficult for me to score well. I was just lazy. However, I changed and worked hard. One of my biggest fears in life is meeting more hardworking people than me, because I know for sure that they are the ones with the potential to surpass me.
This was also one of my proudest achievements because it showed me that my hardwork and commitment to my studies had paid off. I had never put this much initiative into the work I had done before. This achievement exemplifies NP value of Resilience. However, I like to use another word, tenacity. I hated studying a lot but I overcame such an attitude to get what I wanted.
Strategic planning. People strategize for a long-term goal and plan for the short-term goals. For example, I aim to score a hundred for a test. My strategy would be to study more, consult with teachers more often and listen to class more attentively. Planning shows the steps required to achieving these. For example, to study more, I must re-read my notes more often, so I do not forget important concepts. I must buy more assessments books, do and check myself for mistakes. To consult my teachers, I must plan my time according to suit my teachers’ schedules so that we could meet and there would not be a clash in times. To listen to class, I must shut off my phone and set app or website regulators to ensure that I do not play more than I study.
I am currently in CBP, but I want to go for Business Studies and the Entrepreneurship course next year. I have seen successful people graduate from NP Business Studies and I want to be, if not surpass them.
To me, life is so meaningful because of time. Humans live their lives to the fullest because they know they will reach the end of their time eventually. Death is not a bad thing. It makes people treasure their lives more, spend more time with loved ones and establish goals in life. Time makes people remember that there is an end to everything and therefore, they will cherish every single second spent and create memories until they die.
You will never meet another person who share the exact same morals, principles and mindset as me.
I have joined multiple CCAs. In return for providing me with knowledge and experience, I will help them with the organization of events. Whatever CCAs can contribute to the school, I will help them with.
One of my beliefs is that life has no purpose, besides living to be happy. If you are not happy with life, there is nothing worth living for. One of my principles is gratitude. I will never forget those who helped me.
I want to be standing on the balcony of a penthouse, with a glass of champagne in my hand in 5-10 years.
Charity. When I am rich, I will donate to charity. It helps them and it helps with my reputation. My dreams are the same as where I want be in 5-10 years. Ethics are not incredibly important to my life, besides work ethics. They determine whether you succeed or not.
