Biodiversa+ is the European partnership for the conservation of biodiversity, which supports research of excellence, determining positive impact on the management policies and society.

Within the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 (European Commission, 2020), Europe aims to reverse biodiversity loss and degradation of ecosystems by 2030. The European Biodiversity Partnership supports excellent research on biodiversity with an impact for society and policy. Biodiversa+ gathers over 70 research programmers, funders, and environmental policy actors from over 35 European and associated countries. Murfor resulted one of 36 research projects selected for funding for a total amount of over 44 million euros. We would like to express our gratitude to the ministries and funding agencies that support Murfor Consortium, which commits to provide actionable knowledge for the Global Biodiversity Framework.
