DJ MURCI
Janine Antoinette Whitley, better known by her stage name DJ Murci, is an American recording artist/engineer, songwriter, DJ, producer, actress, and activist. DJ Murci started writing music at a young age, she thought it would never really amount to anything so she just did it on the side. DJ Murci, however, later on in life began to realize that music was her passion and her saving grace. After going through hard times and puberty, DJ was ready to begin going to work on her craft. She started to write a song a day and now she has written hundreds of songs. She didn't have any recording equipment at this point in her life so she was later gifted a Blue Yeti USB microphone by her dad. From that day forward, she never looked back. At the age of 15, DJ Murci released her first single E A S Y on New Years Day of 2017. Though it didn't gain much attention or get her publicity, she was personally proud of it. She then later on went to release her song W R S T B H V R, which received a lot more attention than E A S Y and gained DJ Murci search result pages. She was proud of this, however, for DJ, too much work isn't enough work. Juggling 3 AP and 2 Honor's classes in high school at the age of 16, DJ is currently working on several new projects which she is excited to release in the near future.
