Now this is one hell of a dream.
The fifth (non-canon) installment to the Blakeuza series. Relive the events of Yakuza 5 in the shoes of... Blake Izayoi (as Kiryu), Taiga Hamjima (as Saejima) and Shun Akiyama and Tatsuo Shinada.
Yeah, Shinada and Akiyama are just there. They're too perfect to replace.
Meanwhile... Back in Sotenbori, a man by the name of Kazuki Murasaki will soon rise the path of legends when the bigger schemes at hand start to unfold.
Version History:
Thanksgiving 2025 release. Very small scale project.
Featured Meiling Hong as Akiyama, and not as many model replacements.
Murasaki's model controversially reused the Y0 Majima model port from Adidaskote, which eventually became the lead reason for the mod's delisting and development on a new Remastered update.
Mod was first delisted and began work on Remastered update on July 16th.
Permanently reverted Meiling Hong in Shun Akiyama's roles; removed models. Akiyama is no longer altered.
The "Optional BGM" add-on is now part of the core mod, with the exception of Meiling Hong's theme for Shun Akiyama's regular encounter theme "Affected Fight" for the Meiling Akiyama add-on.
Kazuki Murasaki's models have been rebuilt from scratch to avoid previous permission issues with using Adidaskote's Y0 Majima port for Y5 mod.
He now uses Y5 Majima's original face and textures instead of the Y0 model.
His suit is now a heavily edited version of Shun Akiyama's default suit. (Changed from red jacket to blue, black slacks to blue, and black shirt/sleeves to purple.)
Murasaki's ponytail hair is now a mixture of Ogita's hair and (regrettably) a generic female NPC ponytail...
Ponytail models in Yakuza are all usually separate models with armatures that support rigged physics... which unfortunately don't work as static model parts and will clip absolutely everywhere...
Not only that, Yakuza 0 Majima's ponytail also crashed the game when backported and loaded in Y5.
Recreated the PYIH Medical Eyepatch that Murasaki canonically wears (with a very poorly hackjobbed mesh of Majima's eyepatch to use four straps and use plain textures to not display Majima's snake emblem)
The actual medical eyepatch unfortunately does not work in Yakuza 5's engine due to weight painting and vertex group issues, despite working fine in 0/Kiwami.
Blake Izayoi's models (over Kiryu) now receive updated blue irises once again, for consistency with Blakeuza Zero Director's Cut and his original design outside of Blakeuza.
Taiga Hamjima's models (over Saejima) now use Hamjima's iconic orange and green-brimmed top hat ported from Ringmaster Yasuda (from Yakuza 7) instead of Akiyama's Y5 mafia costume fedora.
Hamjima's body texture is now the "hiyake" variant by default instead of "asia".
Mister Expo (over Nishida) now includes his full signature suit model in Nishida's face model (nulled out the other NPC clothing in info.bin)
New custom opening FMV just like the other Blakeuza mods.
Character Profiles are no longer modded and remain vanilla, due to the chapter/part sequencing of this game's story, and does not consistently support new custom profiles.
Instead, there is a batch script in pausepar/pause_en where you can read the official Blakeuza/Murasaki Everywhere character profiles on a dedicated pop-up website! (Blakeuza_Character_Profiles.bat)
