Research Interest
My research works are aimed at elucidating the etiology and pathophysiology of neuropsychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and Alzheimer's disease) and developing therapeutic strategies. Especially focusing on the adverse effects of chronic neural hyperexcitation on neural circuits, using optogenetics, bioinformatics, and imaging.
