I am Dr. Muralisham H, presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Jyotish, Govt Sanskrit College Thrippunithura. I studied Acharya (M.A), Shiksha Shastri (B.Ed.), Shiksha Acharya (M.Ed.), M.Phil., at Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati. I pursued my doctorate in Sanskrit Jyotisha on the topic “Daivajñakāmadhēnugranthasya samīkṣātmakamadhyayanam” under the guidance of Prof. Radhakant Thakur ji, from the same institution during the period of 2013 to 2016. I also qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in Sanskrit conducted by U.G.C.

I am from the background of Sanskrit Jyotisha and have a good length of teaching experience in the Sanskrit language for more than 8 years. I worked in Maharshi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya and Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan.

Apart from this, I have presented papers in several seminars and conferences across the country and published several articles in reputed journals. I also have experience in preparing study materials for Phalita Jyotisha for distance learning programmes of Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati, and the Mukta Swadhyayapeetham, Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi latest to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya.
