We are a research group in the Department of Ecology & Evolution at the University of Chicago. 

We develop new evolutionary theory across a broad range of topics dealing with the consequences of sexual reproduction. We are especially interested in applying insights from complex trait genetics to fundamental questions in evolutionary theory, asking how the genetic architecture of traits and genetic systems shapes their evolutionary dynamics.

Our research includes topics such as the evolution of sexual dimorphism, the dynamics of sexual selection and their impact on speciation, transitions between sex-determining mechanisms, and related questions in genetic conflict and evolutionary genetics. Basically, almost anything in evolutionary theory is fair game!
