MUPSE 2020

The Harvard Graduate School of Design’s Urban Planning program is excited to announce the launch of the first annual MUP Summer Experience (MUPSE). This site provides details about the summer’s programming, participants, and more.

MUPSE online programming is open to everyone in the MUP community. The goal of MUPSE is to connect current students and alumni from around the world in a virtual, engaging format including interactive learning events and community building experiences. All alumni and current students are invited to participate in all events.

Running from June through August 2020, MUPSE will host virtual weekly events such as discussions on topical planning issues; reading & discussion conversations with authors, journalists, and researchers; career advice panels; and charrette style workshops.

Additional programming that will run alongside these weekly events includes urban reading groups and an AICP Exam study group.

This year, the inaugural MUPSE will have an emphasis on providing opportunities and community to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, while also fostering MUPSE’s long term goal of strengthening and maintaining our diverse MUP network.
