In breve: nessun dato viene raccolto.
Nessun dato raccolto.

Munus Note: privacy policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Munus Note is a notepad by Fiorenzo Pilla for iPad, iPhone and Mac. In short: no data is collected.
No data collected. Munus Note has no accounts, shows no ads, uses no analytics or measurement tools and collects no data. It never connects to the internet: the only exception is the "Open Link" command, which hands a link to the browser only when you tap it. It uses no third-party libraries. We do not collect, sell or share data from anyone, including children.
Where your notes live. Notes are files in the folder you use: by default iCloud Drive › Munus Note, synced by the system with your iCloud account, or a folder you choose. Munus Note never sends them anywhere else.
What stays on the device. Preferences (appearance, font, sorting, recent folders, tips already seen) and the recovery log of the latest changes stay on this device, inside the app. Pins, labels, versions and deleted notes are kept in the hidden .munusnote folder, next to your notes. The Spotlight index (names and first words of your notes, when it is on) is kept by the system on this device. With Handoff only a reference to the open note goes to your other device, never its text. If you use widgets, Munus Note leaves a snapshot with names, dates and first lines of up to 60 notes in the app container on this device (names only, if you turn off Settings › Widgets › Note Text in Widgets); without widgets the snapshot is deleted. Text you share from another app to Munus Note stays in an app folder on this device only until it becomes a note.
Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be published here and in the app.
