The Muncie Home Builders Association (MHBA) is a not-for-profit professional trade organization established in May 1947, dedicated to promoting, protecting, and preserving the homebuilding industry as a vital economic force in Muncie and the surrounding areas. MHBA plays a key role in advocating for the interests of local homebuilders, ensuring that the industry remains strong, sustainable, and prosperous.
MHBA is one of 20 local associations that form the Indiana Builders Association (IBA). When you become a member of MHBA, you also gain membership in the IBA and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), giving you a valuable 3-in-1 membership. This means you are represented at the local, state, and national levels, benefiting from a wide range of resources and advocacy efforts.
At the local level, MHBA works closely with community leaders and businesses to promote the homebuilding industry and address issues affecting our region. At the state level, through the IBA, members gain access to government affairs experts who advocate on behalf of the building industry in the Indiana legislature, ensuring that regulations and policies support growth and innovation. Finally, through the NAHB, members benefit from national representation in Washington, D.C., where federal policies are shaped to protect and promote the interests of homebuilders nationwide.
Additionally, with this 3-in-1 membership, you can access networking opportunities and events throughout the state, along with exclusive member benefits and savings programs from well-known and trusted companies. These resources are designed to support your business, reduce costs, and keep you connected with industry leaders.
