Sustainable solution for Food Delivery
Capstone Project, Group - 32, Batch of 2024
Problem Statements
Shopkeepers incur high costs for food delivery services.
Restrictions on food delivery within the TIET campus after 11pm due to security concerns.
Negative environmental impact stemming from the use of traditional combustion vehicles for food delivery.
Objective
To develop autonomous food delivery robot capable of safe delivery of food from COS market, TIET to Hostel-M, TIET.
Key Features
Durable framework capable of supporting loads of up to 5 kg and enduring the rigors of real-world environments.
Able to autonomously traverse open pathways without human involvement, relying on GPS coordinates while evading obstacles.
Access to food is restricted to customers who authenticate themselves using a valid one-time password (OTP).
Designing an autonomous robot with contactless delivery capability using appropriate technology and ensuring smooth recipient interaction.
