Welcome to Mums in Motion! We're committed to creating a supportive, inclusive and welcoming environment where women can build strength, confidence and community. These Terms & Conditions outline how our memberships operate and help ensure a positive experience for everyone.
By purchasing a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Mums in Motion offers two ongoing membership options:
Foundation Membership – One coached class per week, with additional classes available at the current member rate.
Unlimited Membership – Unlimited access to scheduled classes.
Memberships are personal, non-transferable and remain active until cancelled.
Memberships are billed automatically each week via Stripe using your nominated payment method.
It is the member's responsibility to ensure payment details remain current.
Membership fees may be reviewed in the future. Founding Members will retain their discounted Founding Member pricing while their membership remains active and in good standing. However, if there is a significant increase to the weekly class timetable or a substantial change to the services and benefits included within the membership, Mums in Motion reserves the right to adjust Founding Member pricing accordingly. Any such changes will be communicated with reasonable notice.Â
Founding Member pricing is available only during the launch period.
Your Founding Member rate will remain locked in for as long as:
your membership remains active;
payments remain up to date; and
any membership pauses comply with the pause policy below.
If a membership is cancelled, lapses due to unpaid fees, or exceeds the permitted pause allowance, Founding Member pricing is forfeited. Any future membership will be charged at the current standard membership rate.
If a payment fails, Stripe will automatically attempt to process the payment again.
If payment remains outstanding, your membership may be temporarily suspended until payment has been received.
Members with outstanding payments are not permitted to attend classes until their membership is brought up to date.
We understand that life happens.
Members may pause their membership:
for a minimum of 2 weeks
for a maximum of 8 weeks per calendar year
with at least 2 weeks' notice where possible.
Requests outside of this policy may be considered for injury, illness or exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Mums in Motion.
Memberships may be cancelled at any time by providing 7 days' written notice before your next scheduled payment.
Once cancelled, your membership benefits cease at the end of your paid membership period.
If you later decide to rejoin, membership will be charged at the current advertised rate.
Members are required to reserve their place in classes using the nominated booking system.
If you can no longer attend a class, please cancel your booking as early as possible so another member has the opportunity to attend.
Casual sessions are available subject to availability and must be booked separately.
Casual attendees do not receive member pricing or member benefits.
By participating in classes, you confirm that:
you are medically able to participate in physical activity;
you will exercise within your own capabilities;
you will advise your coach of any injuries, pregnancy, medical conditions or changes to your health that may affect participation.
All new members are required to complete a Pre-Exercise Health Questionnaire (PAR-Q) before attending their first class.
Mums in Motion welcomes babies and children during designated classes.
Parents and caregivers remain responsible for supervising their own children at all times.
While every effort is made to provide a safe environment, Mums in Motion cannot provide childcare and accepts no responsibility for the supervision of children during classes.
Members acknowledge that children may be present and that classes may occasionally be interrupted to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children attending.
Membership may include additional resources such as:
virtual coaching and accountability;
nutrition education;
member-only events;
workshops;
exclusive partner offers; and
educational resources.
These benefits may evolve over time and are provided at the discretion of Mums in Motion.
Virtual support is intended to provide encouragement and general guidance and should not be considered an emergency service or individual medical advice.
From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes.
Members who prefer not to appear in promotional material are encouraged to let Jessica know, and every reasonable effort will be made to respect this preference.
Mums in Motion is committed to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for every woman.
Members are expected to:
treat others with kindness and respect;
encourage fellow members;
help create an inclusive atmosphere;
follow coach instructions; and
contribute positively to the community.
From time to time, class times, coaches or locations may change due to public holidays, venue availability, weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.
Participation in exercise involves inherent risks.
By attending classes, members acknowledge these risks and agree to participate voluntarily.
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Mums in Motion accepts no liability for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from participation in classes, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
