Mummy’s Cooking is a personal recipe management application designed to help you store and manage recipes, photos, videos, and audio notes. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your information and device permissions.

2. Information We Collect

User-provided content (stored locally): recipes, ingredients, notes, tags, photos, audio notes, and videos that you choose to add.

No personal data collection: Mummy’s Cooking does not collect, transmit, or share personal information by default. The app is designed to be offline-first, and your content stays on your device.

We use your information only to provide app features, such as:

4. Offline-First & Local Storage

By default, your content is stored locally on your device (e.g., SQLite database and local file storage). The app does not require internet connectivity for core functionality.

If we ever introduce an optional cloud sync feature in the future, we will clearly explain what data would be synced and provide controls before anything leaves your device.

5. Permissions

Mummy’s Cooking may request the following permissions so specific features can work:

Camera (android.permission.CAMERA / iOS Camera)
 Used only when you choose to take photos or record videos for recipes (e.g., dishes, cooking steps).
 All media captured is stored locally on your device unless you choose to share it.

Microphone (android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO / iOS Microphone)
 Used only when you choose to record audio notes or record video with sound.

Photos / Media / Storage
 Used to let you select existing photos/videos, save recipe media locally, and support import/export backups.
 Exported files are created only when you explicitly request export, and saved to a location you choose.

You can deny these permissions in your device settings. Denying permissions may limit certain features but does not block general app use.

The app includes import/export features that allow you to create backup files (for example, ZIP backups). These backups may contain recipes and media. You are responsible for how you store and share exported files.

Mummy’s Cooking does not integrate with third-party advertising networks.
 Currently, it does not include third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

We take reasonable measures to protect on-device data, but no method is 100% secure. We recommend keeping your device protected (e.g., passcode/biometrics) and storing backups safely.

Mummy’s Cooking is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
