Data Collection
MultiToken Counter does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal
data or user information to external servers.
Local Processing Only
All processing occurs entirely within your browser. Text entered in
AI chat interfaces is used solely for real-time token calculation
and is never saved or sent anywhere.
Permissions Used
- storage: Saves only widget position and on/off state locally.
- scripting: Injects the token counter widget into supported AI
chat pages (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
- activeTab: Toggles the widget when the toolbar icon is clicked.
- host_permissions: Limited to chat.openai.com, chatgpt.com,
claude.ai, gemini.google.com only.
Third Parties
No user data is sold, shared, or transferred to any third party.
