This page is meant to introduce teachers to the ways Google Apps can be used for instructional purposes within the classroom. It is divided into three sections Instructional Delivery Technology, Collaborative Instructional Technology, and Individual Productivity Technology.
Google has great tools for creating presentations which can be delivered in the classroom. One prominent delivery tool is Google Slides. Click this link for a quick walk through of the basic features of Google Slides.

YouTube was acquired by Google in 2006 and it too is another great tool for instructional delivery in the classroom when used correctly. Here is a video of how one teacher uses YouTube in order to engage students in his classroom.

Google Classroom is a great productivity tool for students. They can view assignments for all of their classes, make comments if they have questions, and turn in their work all in one convenient place. The sidebar on Google Classroom allows students to see the due dates for their assignments. It even includes a To Do List for students so that they can check off completed assignments as they finish.
