Each spring, the Multifaith Education Project partners with the City of Winter Park for a morning of planting Trees for Peace.
Before planting the trees, there is a small ceremony beginning with recitations and prayers from the three faiths presented by student representatives and ending with a proclamation from the City of Winter Park. The students along with the Winter Park Urban Forestry Division then plant trees to beautify the community in a collaborative and fun venture.
