Women in Geosciences

The event Women in Geosciences, in honor of the Women's month, will take place on March 17 and 18, at 7 pm (Brasilia time) and will consist of two round tables, one on how the profession in geosciences has changed over the years and another on the differences between industry and academia, with the participation of geoscientists telling a little about their experiences.

This is the first event organized by the student chapter SEG Women's Network Brazil, whose mission is to empower and raise the profiles of women geophysicists in our Society.

The event is open to all and will be made via simultaneous transmission on the YouTube channels of the student chapters SEG of Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and SEG-EAGE of National Observatory (ON) and on the Brazilian Geophysical Society (SBGf) channel.
