At Mulberry Hill Farm, owners Dorothy Daulton and Chase Davis strive to foster a safe and enjoyable atmosphere where students can learn how to compassionately and correctly care for and ride horses.
With 20 years of experience, Dorothy is Mulberry Hill's instructor and trainer. She began riding at 10 years old. Her background is mostly with hunters, but also with Dressage, jumpers, guided trails, and polo. She has years of experience teaching hunter lessons, summer camps, and assistant coaching for an Interscholastic Equestrian association show team. When she is not teaching lessons, her primary training interests are starting young horses and restarting off-the-track thoroughbreds.
Dorothy has a Bachelor's of Science in Animal Behavior and a Master's of Science in Biology. As a professional, she has extensive public outreach, education, and leadership experience working with Federal and State agencies. Being able to share her lifelong passion for horses with her students through instructing and training is an honor and a privilege!
