Balaji Industrial Complex
The project was done at Birathi ( Hoogly). The project used PVC pipe. The system was automatic based on timer system with auto flow control and overload protection systems. The capacity of system was 220 plants. While total area used 15ft*8ft.
In line with our commitment to sustainable industrial practices and environmental stewardship, Mul Biotech Farms ( Soumodip Atanu Roy) with Shree Jain Chemicals, Pali successfully implemented a high-capacity Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) designed for 24 lakh litres of daily wastewater treatment. The system integrates an advanced aerobic sludge digestion unit, achieving a dramatic reduction in Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from over 10000 ppm to just 50 ppm. This project follows a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) protocol, ensuring that no untreated effluent is released into the environment. Beyond compliance, it exemplifies climate-resilient infrastructure, promoting circular water usage and reducing freshwater dependency. The project aligns strongly with SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action) — reinforcing our mission to engineer ecological balance through biotech-driven solutions.
The location is Baruipur, 6 bigha land with Biofencing model and 2 ponds . The place has provision for eco resort.
The project also has 8500 sqft organic farming area, vastu aligned. The overall design and mockup is developed by Mul Biotech Farms.

5+ years of experience in sustainable fish farming
Specialize in both air-breathing and water-breathing fish.
Operate across RAS (Recirculating Aquaponics System), Biofloc, and traditional pond systems.
Developed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for positive, healthy fish culture.
Focused on commercially viable, scalable models for aquaculture success.
Our dedicated team has been researching the cost-effective methodologies to start a buisness. During the time frame we had performed several options
Mushroom Farming ( Oyster, Milky, Ganoderma & Cordyceps.)
Hydroponics ( Nutrient Film Technique)
Aquaponics ( Nutrient Film Technique & Deep water culture)
Aquaculture ( Singhi, Pangasius, Vietnamese Koi, Nilontica, Pabda, Roopchanda, Magur etc. )
Aquarium Fish Culture ( Cichlid both African & American, Guppies, Platty, Koi Carps etc. )
Free range poultry ( Cocktail, Sonali, Kadaknath etc. )
Organic fertilizers ( Vermi compost, Compost, Vermi wash etc)
Agroforestry ( Mixed mango plantation, banana cultivation).
We have curated multiple products from scratch used in systems. Each product has been tested inhouse before rolling out.
The workshop was conducted by Fisheries department Kalimpong. 50+ Homestay owners, 20+ official of Kalimpong government, FPOs, PACs, etc. marked their presence.
Mul Biotech Farms seved as contributor filling gaps and creating awareness within the communities.
The workshop has two major focus points
Aquaponics
Loaches
The workshop was conducted on 21st June, 2025
The workshop was part of " Industry academic Collaboration" conducted on 20th December 2024. The participants were budding students and future enterpreneur from the Bachelors and Masters Programme.
