Emergency Closing

The library closes when the Muhlenberg School District closes for bad weather. If school is cancelled in the morning, then the library is closed all day. If school announces an early dismissal, then the library closes the same time as the school. If weather gets severe after school hours, or on a Saturday, the Director and/or Asst. Director decide whether to close. If the school is delayed for one or two hours, then the library will open at 11am (a 2 hour delay) to give the school time to clear the parking lots.

To make sure the public knows of weather closings, we post information on WFMZ. When possible, closing information will also be posted to the library website and Facebook.
