Description:
The project aims to support statistics research postgraduates to teach quantitative data analysis to postgraduate Students without a statistics background. As part of this project, I conducted a six-hour workshop (divided in two three-hour session) about Survival Analysis.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon finishing the workshop, the students are expected to:
Understand the basic concept of Hazard Function, Survival Function, Censoring, Truncation, Failure Time.
Understand the workings of Kaplan Meier estimate and construct them using SPSS
Use Log-Rank test to compare Survival Curves using SPSS
Understand the basics of Cox Model and use it for Survival Data in SPSS
Interpret the Results of the Cox Model
