Research Areas and Interest
Artificial Intelligence including application of machine learning, text processing, information retrieval and extraction, evidence-based decision making, and precision medicine.
Experienced professional with a PhD and an "Excellent Thesis Award" in 2017. Published research findings in over 100 top-tier journals, patents, books, and conferences with a cumulative impact factor of over 140. Taught highly rated courses in computing, big data management and analytics, data science, statistics, and mathematics. Received "Merit Scholarship Awards" throughout their tertiary education and have played an active role in student recruiting and admission to universities. Invited Speaker and Presenter of research in different countries such as the USA, the UK, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Italy, Portugal, and Australia. Participated in research project grants worth over 15 Million USD from various national and international agencies. Served as an Associate Editor, Guest Editor, & Reviewer of 13 peer-reviewed journals and a Steering & Technical Program Committee Member of 5 conferences. Volunteering as an Executive Board Member of the Scientific Knowledge Accelerator Foundation (SKAF) and a Chair of Education and Training, HL7 Pakistan, a non-profit affiliate organization of HL7 International. promotes health standards in the country. The individual is also an approved proctor and instructor to conduct HL7 standard training and conduct certifications with HL7 International and HL7 Argentina.

Research Visits
Pursuing his research and development activities, he visited different places of the world and presented his piece of contributions. His contributions were appreciated at different forums while presenting at the conferences and working group meetings.
In 2009, he visited Japan to present his conference paper in IHIC conference and participated in HL7 Working Group Meeting.
In 2010, he got the privilege to participate in HL7 Plenary Meeting and attended the inauguration ceremony as a delegate of Pakistan of HL7 Pakistan becoming a new affiliate of HL7 family.
Continuing the journey, he presented his work in INISTA conference held in Italy in 2014.
