SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Muhammad Absar Uddin is currently a Research Assistant in the National Center for Cyber Security Lab - NED University of Engineering & Technology in Pakistan. He obtained Bachelors of Engineering in Electrical (BE-EE) from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan in 2021 which is one of the top engineering universities in Pakistan. His final year project was "Intimation of Load Zero at Grid Using Android Application". The objective of this project was to immediately notify the utility company on the Smartphone in case of fault in primary distribution substation by using micro-controllers.

His research interest include (but not limited to) Blockchain, Smart Grid, Internet of Things, Cyber Security, Electrical Vehicles, Computer Networks & Wireless Networks.

Intimation of Load Zero (Outage in Primary Distribution Substation) at Grid using Android Application


Description: Designed a prototype device which will immediately notify the Utility company on the smartphone in case of Load Zero condition (Outage in Primary Distribution Substation)


Tools Used: Arduino UNO, NodeMCU (ESP8266) and MIT App Invertor

Description: Analysis of yearly load profile generated in different research papers and perform technical and economic analysis of it

Description: Analysis of transmission lines parameters for practical geometries/systems used in the different research papers and perform technical analysis and propose efficient design for it.

  • Home Automation Controlled By Smartphone Using Arduino Microcontroller

Description: All the home appliance were controlled through Application through WIFI module

Tools Used: Arduino UNO, WIFI Module and MIT App Invertor

Description: Perform Lightning of a floor, done cable sizing, wiring of a room and proposed a suitable bus bar scheme.

Tools Used: Dialux and AutoCAD

Description: Model the 11 Bus System, created a overload problem in it and generated a three phase fault at a point in 11 Bus System.

Description: Designed house and office elevation and perform the house wiring on it.
