Muhammad Asghar Khan, Ph.D., earned his electronic engineering doctorate from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, ISRA University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He is an Assistant Professor and heads the Electrical Engineering Department at Hamdard University, Islamabad. Additionally, Dr. Khan holds a position as a Research Fellow at the Smart Systems Engineering Lab at Prince Sultan University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Actively engaged in academia, he contributes as a Reviewer for distinguished journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer. Dr. Khan has also served as a Guest Editor for various international journals. With an extensive publication history, he has authored or co-authored over 100 technical and review articles, prominently featured in reputable journals such as IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and IEEE Internet of Things Journal. Dr. Khan has presented his research findings at numerous national and international conferences. In recognition of his outstanding scholarly contributions, Stanford University acknowledged him as one of the top 2% of scientists globally in 2023. His research interests are centred around Drones/UAVs, specifically focusing on networks, platforms, security, and applications and services.Â
