Zahir Ud Din Muhammad Babur

Zahir ud din Muhammad Babur was the first ruler of the mughals. Although he was a prince of one of the states of central asia, he claimed that Dehli was rightfully his as his ancestor had captures it over a hundred years ago.So after endless tries of capturing Samarkand, he turned his attention to Kabul and successfully conquered it in 1504. Later with the help of local Rajput rulers and Daulat Khan Lodhi , he overthrew Ibrahim Lodhi and initiated the great mughal empire.
