Template Tools

Template based tools have you fill in a template - usually asking for grade level and topic. You can copy and paste content to ground Gemini. Some template tools allow you to upload Drive files (Create a rubric). Gemini generates learning objectives from that information. You can edit the objectives, delete or even add your own. Resources created with the template tools must be exported to save! Some template tools allow you to add to a class (Generate a quiz). Some template tools allow you to export to a Doc or Form.

Prompting Tools

Gemini prompting tools open a new Gemini chat with a predefined prompt. Because you are in Gemini, all chat history will be saved which means you can go back and refer to it. Some prompts are simple (Draw a comic) and need limited information - grade level, topic, learning goal. Some prompts are detailed and act as a coach and interview you before generating a response (Assess depth of knowledge).
