Question:I was told this was recalled and that I'd receive a new one due to safety, yet I have received nothing. Did anyone receiver their replacement?

Answer:The one I bought in 2018 was recalled. I received an email with the directions for a replacement but they were so complicated and time consuming I said "forget it". I still have the defective one but never used it. This Pro-Series has a lot more options than the one I have.

Question:What size in cups is the reservoir?

Answer:It is a decent size, about 4 cups. The bottom of the collection bin has useful rubber feet that keep the bin from sliding while using the blades and cutters.

               Question:Will this cube tomatoes or smash them? I want to use this for making Pico de Gallo

Answer:You will smash the tomatoes if you expect the dicer to slice through skin against the blades. I cut romas with no issues and get beautiful dices, however, I cut them in half and place them flesh side down against the blades and press quickly. From that method it will cut the skin beautifully.

   Question:How do you dice celery? Couldn’t get it to work on small dice

Answer:After I cleaned my celery I cut each stock in 3 pieces. I laid them down on the small dice attachment, one at a time and it did great! Hope this helps :)
