Why take lessons? The great teacher Shinichi Suzuki once said, children who learn beautiful music will have a beautiful heart. As a teacher, it is not my goal that every student just becomes a fabulous musician- but that every student learns to create beauty, to think creatively, to work hard, and to make the world better. Music is a means to make beautiful people.

Why take lessons from me? I've known since I was a teenager that I wanted to teach music. Being able to play an instrument well has had such a profound impact on my life that it's my mission now to share it with others! I have spent years seeking out teacher training opportunities and learning as much as I can so that I can teach every student to the best of my ability.
