Please join, Mike Shackelford, the co-founder of Justin as he returns to the Mudville Listening Room on March 27 to reminisce and perform songs from his lengthy catalog that traces his roots in the Bluegrass State to his adopted home in Florida. Please don’t miss this opportunity to spend an intimate evening with this veteran singer-songwriter and his special guests Dean Spry and Steve Shanholtzer.

The 16 piece TBA Big Band plays the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.
The TBA Big Band plays music from the swing era and beyond and pays tribute to greats such as Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, and others. Local composers and arrangers are featured as well. All of the musicians are first-call professional instrumentalists with extensive backgrounds performing jazz and commercial styles. Many members are current or retired college music professors from UNF, JU, and FCCJ.

The 6 piece Rhythm City Rhythm Kings plays the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
The River City Rhythm Kings perform classic jazz from the 1920's - 1940's. The music of artists such as Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, Jelly Roll Morton, Bix Beiderbecke, and the Dukes of Dixieland is highlighted. For a taste of New Orleans revelry, audience participation in the Saints Go Marching In parade is featured every evening. That's right, Mardi Gras right here in Jacksonville.
