Meet Chewbacca (because that’s exactly who he look like before he got his haircut today)! Chewbacca‘s owner passed away and the family could not take him in so they reached out to our rescue for help. He is three or four years old, weighs 14 lbs and we think a Shih Tzu/Yorkie mix. He was in kind of rough shape. He had dry, patchy skin and many of his nails were grown into his pads. We took him to the vet today where he had an exam, rabies vaccination, Bordetella, canine four DX Snap test, DA2PP plus Lepto vaccine and was micro chipped. We are now just waiting to get him neutered. At that point he will be ready for adoption. He is a very nice, very calm, sweet, little boy. He gets along really well with other dogs. He has a nice disposition and no aggression. He is calm and quiet.

Meet Arctic Fox! This is an amazing little dog. He is the whole package. Arctic Fox is sweet, adorable, affectionate, playful and an all around bundle of joy. He loves people and gets along great with other dogs. He loves to play with his toys. He is approximately two years old and weighs about 7 pounds. He’s all vetted, neutered and ready to go. He is pee pad trained and learning how to go outside to the bathroom.

Snookie is a very well socialized, happy, affectionate and loving little dog. He seems to be house trained, loves people and gets along great with other dogs. Meet Igor. Are you looking for a sweet, sweet laid-back pup as a companion? Then please welcome Igor to our rescue. Igor was an owner surrender, severely matted with no vetting done. But now, this loving little pup has been groomed and vetted and seeking his forever home. Igor is an approximately 8/9 year old male Shih Tzu. He weighs about 14 lbs. He is very well behaved, has good manners and will bark to go outside to go potty. Igor loves attention and has such an adorable personality. He is blind in one eye and has some dry eye in the other one. When we first got him, he was stiff and slow moving. Now that he is groomed and vetted and getting plenty of exercise and he is really moving and having a great time enjoying his new life. Can you please help us find him a forever home? We named him Merlin because of his beautiful blue merle coloring and he has the most awesome "Zorro" mask. Merlin is approximately 24 pounds and about 5 years old. We will know more once he sees the vet. He is a poodle mix. He is very sweet and affectionate. He prefers the company of people over dogs. He just wants to snuggle. Meet Harvey. He is such a special boy. Harvey is super sweet, gentle, affectionate, happy, laid-back and just a wonderful, dog. He is such a cutie pie! We’re not sure if he was born with a birth defect or suffered some type of trauma at a very early age, but his upper jaw has a twist in it that makes his face a tad different looking. But no need to worry! It does not impede him in any way whatsoever. He is not in any pain and can eat and drink and breathe and function completely normally. Harvey was found wandering the streets alone, filthy, dirty, with super thick matted fur. He was just a mess. Now he is all cleaned up and getting all his vetting done and is almost ready to be adopted. We need to find him a loving home where he will be cherished for the special boy he is. I think in my heart that God made him this way to give him an “extra big happy smile.” Please be sure to look at his before and after photos. We think he may be a Maltipoo (Maltese and Poodle) Harvey weighs approximately 11 pounds and is just under one year old. He is neutered.

Meet Goldie! Goldie is a sweet, little Yorkie who was saved from euthanasia. She is approximately 7 pounds and three years old. We don’t know what tragedy left her paralyzed, but she has no use of her two back legs. She will be going to the vet for x-rays and exams to see what we can figure out for long-term plan, but she gets along perfectly fine by scooting along the floor or does really great in her wheelchair. She is capable of peeing and pooping on her own, but she does not have control. She has adjusted very well to wearing a diaper and it’s truly not that difficult as she is such a little bitty girl. Would you consider opening up your heart in your home and adopting or fostering this sweet pup?
