Privacy Policy

Muddaty is designed to work privately and offline. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices available to you.
Information stored on your device:
Document names, categories, expiry dates, notes, language, theme and onboarding preferences are stored locally in the app’s private storage. Muddaty does not require an account and does not send this information to us.
Reminders and permissions:
If you allow notifications, Muddaty schedules expiry reminders locally on your device. Notification permission can be changed at any time in your device settings. Reminder timing may be affected by operating-system battery controls.
Encrypted backups:
When you create a backup, Muddaty encrypts it with the password you choose. You decide where to save or share the file. We cannot access the file or recover its password. Any storage provider you select applies its own privacy terms.
Purchases:
One-time Premium purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple, not by Muddaty. We receive only the store information needed to unlock features and do not receive your full payment-card details. Store purchase history is used to restore access after reinstallation.
Third-party services:
Muddaty uses operating-system services for notifications, file selection, email support and in-app purchases. Those services may be provided by Google, Apple or an app you choose. Muddaty contains no advertising and does not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
Retention and your control:
Your information remains on your device until you edit or delete it. Uninstalling Muddaty normally removes local app data. A backup remains wherever you saved it until you delete it. You can delete individual documents from within the app.
Children’s privacy:
Muddaty is a general utility and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy:
We may update this policy when Muddaty’s features or legal requirements change. The updated policy and effective date will appear in the app.
