MPhil Thesis Title: Spin Polarized DFT study of structural, magneto-electronic and thermo-elastic properties of RbMO3 (M= Np, Pu) Cubic perovskites.    

Description:

The project entails the development of RbMO3 quantum perovskite materials utilizing density functional theory (DFT) within Wien2k scientific code. These materials were discovered to be half-metallic ferromagnets while being structurally and thermodynamically stable. The overall comprehensive study revealed the striking applications  of these materials in sophisticated spintronics and thermoelectric isotope generators.
