Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 3, 2026
MudCalc Pro ("the App") is operated for mud engineering and drilling-fluid decision support. This policy explains what information is handled by the App and how that information is used.
1) Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the iOS application currently branded as MudCalc Pro.
2) Information Handled by the App
The App is designed to work primarily with operational engineering inputs and locally stored user preferences. Depending on your use, the App may store:
- Calculator inputs and outputs you choose to save in history.
- Workflow run notes and checklist completion state.
- App preferences such as unit system, precision, and UI options.
3) Local Storage and Retention
Saved records are stored on the device using local application storage. You can remove saved history from the Settings screen. If you uninstall the App, locally stored App data is removed by the operating system according to iOS behavior.
4) Personal Data
The App is not designed to require account registration, login credentials, or user profile creation. The App does not intentionally collect personal identity information inside the app workflow unless you include personal details in free-text notes.
5) Analytics, Tracking, and Third-Party Advertising
The App uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to request and display in-app advertisements.
The App can request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) authorization on iOS. If you allow tracking, ad requests may use advertising identifiers according to Apple's and Google's platform rules. If you deny or restrict tracking, the App continues with limited/non-personalized ad behavior.
The App does not require account creation and does not intentionally collect personal profile data for advertising from in-app engineering records.
6) Data Sharing
Operational records created in the App stay on-device unless you explicitly export or share a report using iOS share actions. You control where exported files are sent.
7) Security
Reasonable development and platform-level controls are used to support data protection. However, no mobile environment can guarantee absolute security. Users should avoid storing unnecessary personal data in operational notes.
8) Children
The App is intended for professional/technical use and is not directed to children.
9) Your Choices
You can:
- Disable or limit certain app behaviors through Settings.
- Clear saved calculation history in-app.
- Avoid entering personal data in operational note fields.
10) Changes to this Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect product or regulatory changes. Updated versions will include a revised "Last Updated" date.

3) User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Entering accurate and current field data.
- Validating results against approved procedures and operational limits.
- Obtaining required internal approvals before acting on any output.
