Our Mission Beyond Our Walls for October is Marion Medical Mission. Marion Medical Mission seeks to share the love of Christ with the extreme poor in Africa by providing all in need with a sustainable source of clean, safe drinking water. Marion Medical Mission is an ecumenical, Christian, front-line, hands-on, volunteer, non-profit organization that responds to Christ’s call to serve by working hand in hand with God’s people in Africa. Zion has supported the MMM for several years and welcome your participation and generosity.
What To Expect When Joining Us
You will be warmly welcomed!
The entrance to our worship space is located on Monroe Avenue. Parking is in front of the entrance.
We are wheelchair accessible.
The worship service is fully printed in our weekly bulletin so it is easy to follow.
You will experience a congregation made of loving, caring and welcoming people.
In our worship you will hear God's love and forgiveness, God's word from scripture. We will pray as Jesus taught us to pray and come to the Lord's table to receive communion. We are then sent out into the world to live our lives by faith, led by God's love. Because God calls us to love our neighbor as Jesus loves us, we do our very best to demonstrate God's love, so others will know God loves and accepts them, too.
