I am a first-year PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the ECE Department of Wayne State University. I have been awarded a Graduate Teaching Assistantship and I will work as a part of the Novel Materials & Devices Laboratory (NMDL) led by Dr Gozde Tutuncuoglu.
I studied for one year (Masters of Technology in Microelectronics & VLSI Design) at the Department of Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IITKGP). I was awarded the prestigious ICCR scholarship by the Indian government to pursue this degree.
I passed my B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in Spring 2021. I have worked on optoelectronic devices, photonic sensors, and nanostructures (2D) as a part of my undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Farseem Mannan Mohammedy (research ). I like to read and write. I have worked as an educator and content writer for 10 Minute School, the largest online education platform in Bangladesh. I am also the 2nd prize winner (2019) at the International Essay Contest for Young People organized by The Goi Peace Foundation.
I am the co-founder of an organization, Spardha, that works for humanitarian causes and we have been able to help about 10,000 people since 2016 with food and cloth.
I was a paid artist (Poem-recital) at Bangladesh Radio (2004-2008) and I have several awards in math, science, quiz, poem-recital, and writing competitions
