• This organization is particularly geared towards giving private music teachers an opportunity to build connections with more experienced teachers, particularly through our local affiliate organization MLMTA
• Financial assistance towards attending national and state level conferences for extraordinary, immersive experiences for pedagogical development
• Get to know the resources available for enhancing your teaching and giving your students out-of-studio musical opportunities for performance, adjudication, and competition
• Exercising the art of pedagogy enhances a musician's performance and musical communication with their audience
• Additional performance opportunities to represent as both teachers and performers in the community

You can skip Step 2 and just join our Collegiate Chapter [through the RAMConnect link below] without joining at the national level, and you can join at the national level at any time! Click here for more information on skipping national membership and its limitations.

Those who skip Step 2 are still welcome to attend up to two MLMTA [local, non-collegiate] meetings and events for free to get to know what the organization has to offer! Those who take both steps will be able to attend all MLMTA meetings and events.
