Behold a pretty normal and basic product: the yellow box cake mix. And I'll be honest, maybe I'm a little weird but I enjoy yellow cake from a box more than the most cake I can buy from a bakery. And truth be told, cake mix can often be had on sale for 4/$5.

This yellow cake mix isn't labeled as being organic and it is priced higher than your basic Duncan Hines or Pillsbury mix. Usually, I keep a few boxes on my pantry shelves to have on hand as a birthday cake. But today I made myself cupcakes.

Would I buy this again? Trader Joe's Yellow Cake and Baking Mix gets a conditional maybe from me. My biggest sticking point is that it is priced higher than other yellow cake mixes. If it were organic then I could justify it, but just for yellow cake mix, I'll probably stick to my regular brands.

What you have here are fully cooked lentils in a spicy, yellow, and deeply flavored sauce. While the turmeric lends most of the color here, for me the curry leaves and cumin added the most flavor. This is also mild to medium in heat.

I did something similar, my recipe was using boneless skinless chicken thighs, two bottles of yellow curry sauce, one can of reduced fat cocounut milk, about two large carrots, baby white potatoes, one can of organic garbanzo beans and a bottle of Trader Joes indonesian salsa. The salsa gives you a lot more flavor than the curry sauce alone and the coconut milk adds a creaminess that is missing in the curry sauce. The curry sauce is a much too watery on its own.

Great recipe! I used some of the recommendations that Stephen Dunkle had and a few more modifications. I cut the chicken into chuncks instead of whole. I added the Indonesian salsa and 1/2 can coconut cream(grabbed wrong thing at trader joes). I added frozen pineapple chuncks and 2 cut up summer squash in the last 30 minutes. I took 1/4 cup liquid and 1 TBSP cornstarch to thicken a bit and added back to crockpot. I had to skim some of the oil from the Indonesian salsa off at the end. Next time, I think I would drain the salsa before adding. Thank you so much for the recipe. My co-workers agreed it is a keeper!

I served the pilaf alongside roasted French yellow beans. This was the first time that I had ever seen yellow beans in a grocery store, and since I am all about trying new products, I was super excited to cook with these. The package provides instructions for steaming or sauteing the beans. I, however, decided to roast them. I sprayed the beans with olive oil cooking spray, sprinkled them with black pepper, sea salt, garlic powder, and onion powder, and roasted them for about 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees F.

These yellow beans tasted very similar to their more popular counterpart, green beans, but with a slightly sweeter taste. I really enjoyed them and definitely plan to purchase them again the future. Unfortunately, they are a bit pricier than green beans :(.

So many of us have fond memories of baking boxed cake mixes at home. We made an absolute mess of our kitchens baking a boxed cake mix during sleepovers with our friends, messily cracking eggs and spilling oil everywhere. We waited impatiently for the oven to preheat while frantically baking a few cupcakes for a school bake sale. Everyone has their favorite flavor of cake mix (mine's devil's food cake), but if we were going to bet on one to please an entire crowd, the choice is easy: classic yellow.


Absolutely delicious! Made this last night with chickpeas instead of chicken and it was DIVINE! Couldnt find yellow curry paste but found red and it was a great substitute. Followed instructions exactly after that. 10/10!!!!

Though the richly saturated red-orange stones from Arizona are likely more well known, this exceptional lemon yellow is every bit as impressive and rare for gem Wulfenite. Think a color more like the very best Anglesite or an impossibly fine yellow Sapphire. Vivid seems the only appropriate word. Of course, we don't even need to mention how special this becomes with Wulfenite's dispersion and luster. Make it a stone of over 2 1/2 carats and you have a dazzling collection piece. Absolutely perfect cutting and just a very fine few specks of 'dust' that are lost in the brilliance of the stone. We have only see one of two of these equal in color over the years, they are supremely rare. Not inexpensive, but a one-of-a-kind beauty.

The first thing that came to mind when I opened this box of cookies was afternoon tea. With their pale-yellow color and paper-thin texture, they were practically designed to be consumed off a pretty pastel-colored plate atop some doilies.

So one hour, there was a yellow glimmer above the cap, scythe, focus and an hour later above the gloves, ring and tunic (just an example).

But after level 73, when the ancestrals are unlocked from the curiosity vendor, the yellow glimmer diappeared, when there should have been added the white glimmer.

My friends do have those, thats why i am asking if this is a bug
