Snack Attack

The Snack Attack program ensures that all students have access to a healthy and allergen friendly backup snack right in the classroom.  If a student forgets their snack or is still hungry, the Snack Attack box has their back!  Hunger negatively impacts a student’s concentration, memory, and mood, so the PTO coordinates keeping the boxes full and ready to go.

The Snack Attack program has been widely successful thus far.  During this past school year, we partnered with the K-5 School Nurse to support efforts to help students recognize and reduce their intake of ultraprocessed foods.  We replaced our previous allergen-friendly, processed snacks with whole, fresh fruit and applesauce options.  This was very well received by teachers, families, and students alike!  

Because of the increased cost of choosing fresh fruits over processed snack foods, the PTO anticipates that this year’s program costs will increase to $6,300 to keep all the K-5 classrooms stocked for the entire 2026-2027 school year.  We would like to invite you to be a Snack Attack Sponsor at the level of your choosing below:
