Independent Research is an excellent option for students who want to explore a topic they love through research in a structured classroom environment.
Intern/Mentor is a fantastic course for students who want a hands-on experience in a field of interest with a professional while also learning the research process.
AP Seminar is designed to teach students how to investigate a problem, analyze, compare, and synthesize information. Students will work on AP tasks that may lead to AP credits.
AP Research allows students to move from the secondary research process of AP Seminar into a primary research project. Students select an area of inquiry, find an advisor, develop a research proposal, run a study, write a argumentative paper that will be scored by College Board, and deliver a presentation and oral defense to a panel that is scored by the AP Research teacher.
