LANDSCAPING

(Team Work)

We were assigned to propose a detailed landscape design of the civil faculty area of the RUET campus, during the academic session of the 3rd-year even semester of the sessional course “Landscape Design Sessional’. We used an ecological approach, including site development, topography, drainage, site utilities, and planting for landscaping.

HIGH-RISE BUILDING PROJECT

(Team Work)

In the academic session of 3rd-year odd semester of the sessional course “Architectural Design of High Rise Building Sessional’, we were assigned to present a case study on the middle eastern energy efficiency iconic high-rise building Bahrain World Trade Center.

This sessional was designed to serve as both a case study on vertically extended complex building problems and a thematic approach to architectural design, with an emphasis on creative ideas and the incorporation of functional expressions, environmental qualities, structural issues, air circulation, and organization in the field of architecture.

It was our responsibility to evaluate Bahrain WTC in terms of design concepts, interior architectural technologies, structural analysis, HVAC systems, and wind turbine analysis and its efficiency.

DESIGN OF STUDIO APARTMENT

(Team Work)

This project was done in the academic session of the 2nd year even semester in 2019. The inspiration for the project's concept was taken from the rolling slice cake that is presented to the guest. It was very difficult for us to ensure that every space in that duplex building had adequate ventilation and suitable lighting. We also had to complete detailed architectural working drawings for the floor plan, section, elevation, and site plan as construction documents.

OBSERVATION TOWER PROJECT

(Team Work)

This observation tower was designed in the academic session of the 2nd-year odd semester. The concept of the outer curved wall of this proposed tower was derived from the Middle Eastern exotic hotel Burj Al Arab, and it was designed for observing and enjoying the top view of the Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) Campus.

DESIGN OF BASIC ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS

(Individual & Team Work Both)

In the academic session of the 2nd-year odd semester of the sessional course “Architectural Design Sessional-I’, we had to design spaces by using the primary architectural elements of form: points, lines, planes, and volumes.
