How to search this website

Use the <magnifying glass> search icon

• The icon is found on the top right hand corner of the scree

• It is a very powerful when searching for a specific subject

• It only searches the text; it ignores the wording in headings and subheadings

The Basics

1. click the <magnifying glass> search icon

2. enter the word or words you are searching for such as 180daysinspain

3. use the <New Line> key on a tablet to trigger the search

4. on a Phone or PC use the <Return> key 

It is very useful for searching for secondary subjects

• In this instance Google has found the references to ATT, which is the acronym for the Association of tax Technicians

Adjust the search criteria

• A single common word may produce too many results to be useful

• The search can be narrowed down - see the two screenshots below

• Just like searching on the internet it may take a few attempts to get the results you are looking for

Search for a phrase

• By putting double quotes round each word you can search for a group of words or a phrase such as manual process 

One subject - several possible words

• If you want to find pages containing Word A or Word B etc then separate the words with a capitalised OR. 

• In this example looking for "2025/6" OR "2025/26"

• You can use as many OR as is needed

Other Tips

• The 'Last modified on Jan.....' is the last time the page was updated; this may not match the last update comment on corner of the page which is manually added and often only changes for material updates
