The properties of modern engineering materials and chemicals are significantly affected by their structures and compositions, which have a broad impact on their end-user performance. Our research efforts are focused on the nexus of  AI/ML-driven material and chemical discovery and integrated modeling of material/chemical-and- process/systems/device to address challenging energy and sustainability topics, such as room-temperature H2 storage, industrial gas separation and purification, and CO2 conversion. Our group also carry out experiments to supplement our overall modeling effort.

우리 연구실은 AI, 계산화학 그리고 전산 모델링을 통해 나노 (0.1 - 10 nm) 소재 및 화학물과 이들이 쓰이는 첨단공정/시스템/디바이스에 대한 기초 및 응용 연구를 수행 하고 있습니다. 특히 수소 저장, 첨단산업분야 가스 분리정제, 이산화탄소 포집 및 전환에 활용되는 첨단 소재 및 화학물들에 대한 소재/공정 조합 연구들을 수행 중에 있습니다.
