Welcome to Ms. Winters' web page!
My name is Ms. Winters and I am a second year secondary social studies pre-service teacher at Acadia University.
Social justice education is very important to me not only as an educator but also as a person. Some of my general interests include: field hockey, anime, movies, collecting vinyl, and walking my dog!
On my site, you will find a unit plan for Unit 5 of the Sociology 12 curriculum, which is titled Social Control: Deviant and Conformist Behaviour.
You will also find treaty-infused lesson plans for a variety of different secondary social studies courses.
I will also be housing my journal entries here for a current class I am taking, called "Digital Literacy and Curriculum". You can find my Multi-Media Journal below and listen to my thoughts on integrating technology into my classroom.
