Task #2: Explore STEM Careers

Explore STEM careers located below. These resources can also be used when completing TASK #4.
Everyone will have a different career for their digital resource. DO NOT move to TASK #4 without approval of STEM Career Choice for your presentation.
Select one career that you will present on and move on to TASK #3

You will submit your Top 3 STEM Careers for approval prior to moving on to TASK #4.
Click the Top 3 STEM Career Form or copy/paste link into browser (https://forms.gle/UgafDnzdyx8kfj546) to access Google Form.
Complete the entire Google Form and await approval. While waiting for approval you can continue to explore other STEM careers.
After exploring other STEM careers review Intermission Video below.
REMEMBER DO NOT move on to Task #4 until you have received APPROVAL from the teacher.
Your approval will be provided by the time the video below ends.

If you have made it to this task you have received my approval.

Click blue link 'Make a copy' to copy form to your Google Drive. You will be able to insert your responses once a copy has been made.
You will list the approved presentation career choice as STEM Career #1.
Answer all questions listed on the Handout before moving on to Task #5. It is important to evaluate the questions and utilize the resources below to assist in answering the questions.
You will create a table for Question #'s 4, 5 & 6. Use prior knowledge when completing this part of the project. The video at the top of this page will assist if needed.
After completing the entire Handout you can move to Task #5.

Explore Online Video Editors and Animation Tools
Review Chart below to determine which presentation tool you will use for your project.
I suggest using Adobe Spark or Powtoon. You are welcome to select another tool if you are more comfortable with using this. Be CREATIVE!!!!
Use Questions from approved career listed under STEM Career #1 on the Handout from Task.
The questions from the Handout should be addressed throughout your video presentation. Audio should be added into presentation.
Video should not be more than 5 minutes.
Allow one of your peers to review your video and provide feedback.
Peer to Peer collaboration/assistance is allowed during this Task.
Once complete with video you will share link and move on to Task #6.

Make sure you have selected to "Share" your presentation. A link will generate. Copy and paste this link somewhere safe. You will need this to create the QR code.

Select "URL" for the Code Generator
Paste the link for your presentation
A QR Code will generate
You can customize your QR Code. After customizing Download JPG.
Create a Google Doc. List the Name of the Career at the top of the Google Doc. Insert the QR Code. It should appear in the Download file on the computer.
Save this document. You can Export to PDF or keep as a Google Doc. You will submit this in Task #7.

Add your shareable link in Question #4 of the form.
Answer all questions with complete sentences.
