What do you do when the rain keeps falling, the sky turns grey, and you’re stuck inside with nothing but time? If you’re me, you start writing books! During my time in Spain (where the weather seemed to have a personal vendetta against sunshine), I turned my rainy-day blues into creative gold. As an IB educator, I’ve always been a lifelong learner and a risk-taker, so I thought, “Why not try illustrating my own books, too?” Spoiler alert: It’s been a wild, rewarding adventure! Wearing both the author and illustrator hats has pushed my creativity in unexpected ways—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I hope my stories bring a smile to your face and spark a little curiosity—because, let's face it, who doesn’t need a good story to chase away the clouds?
