The Game Plan
Families: I am going to try to be as thorough as possible on this page to help you navigate the "school" day with your student. Please remember that if you need help with clarification of instructions or operating a specific website, please let me know!
Communicating with Peer Buddies: Your student should be receiving an email from one of their Peer Buddies every day. Please help your student check their school email accounts and read the messages. Your student doesn't HAVE to reply back to their Peer Buddies, however it would be a great opportunity for them to practice some supervised online communication!
Things to do every day: Refer to both this website and the folder of work for daily work. You will find the information you need for each day's assignments under the tabs: Daily Morning Work, Reading/ELA, and Math. In both Reading and Math, students have flashcards to practice daily. I recommend that you spent no more than 5-10 minutes going through them.
Things to do weekly: Under the tabs Science/Social Studies, Virtual Field Trips, and Super Important Life Skills, you will find activities that only need to be done once a week!
Daily Schedules: The pacing that you use to start and complete each day's work is completely up to you! However, we are more than happy to help you by making a schedule for you and your student to follow to complete their school work! Just let us know! We'll create one for you and email it to you! We are here to help support you as best we can during this crazy time!
