History

Founded by a group of passionate undergraduate students in the School of Laboratory Medicine and Medical Science at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), our organization has evolved into a dynamic force for change, growth, and innovation in the field of medical sciences.

In August 2023, a visionary group of undergraduate students embarked on a journey to create a platform that would enhance their academic experiences and foster a sense of community, leadership, and excellence. This initiative came to life within the hallowed halls of UKZN's College of Health Sciences.

Who can become a member? and members privileges

Membership in the Club shall be open to all currently enrolled students at the University of Kwazulu-Natal for Medical Sciences degree (Physiology &/or Anatomy).
Prospective members should have a genuine interest in supporting their peers academically, socially, and emotionally.
Members are expected to actively participate in our organization's activities, meetings, and events.
Membership privileges include voting rights, having your views heard and bringing forward your struggles or issues with the course.
Members are encouraged to engage proactively in our organization's initiatives, including study groups, mentoring programs, workshops, and fundraising efforts.
We emphasize teamwork and collaboration. Members should be open to working with others to create a positive and enriching environment for all.
We value empathy and respect. Members are expected to treat each other with kindness and understanding, creating a safe space for sharing ideas and concerns.
Each member is encouraged to contribute their unique skills and perspectives to the organization's activities, enhancing the overall experience for everyone.
Members are encouraged to actively support fundraising initiatives to assist those in need within our community, promoting a sense of unity and compassion
