Apart from graduate research assistantships, another pathway for funding is through departmental teaching assistantships. The Department of Geosciences offers merit-based graduate teaching assistantships that include a monthly stipend, a full tuition waiver, and health insurance. Prospective students should indicate their interest in a TA position at the time of their graduate school application. To ensure full consideration for TA funding, applications should be received by January 15th for the Fall semester.
