RESEARCH
Major areas of study include:
Career Assessments: Which types of assessments work best to effectively match people to jobs? How can career assessments better capture 'the whole-person' by integrating interests, skills, values, and personality?
Career Success across the Lifespan: What factors promote career success for diverse individuals? How do these factors change with age?
Organizational Selection and Placement: Which hiring practices best predict job performance? What can organizations do to help place employees in better-fitting jobs?
Future of Work: In what ways are people's careers changing due to technology and other societal forces? Which types of jobs are growing or declining?
Workforce Development: How can educational institutions, organizations, and governments work together to promote career success for underserved populations?
Across these topics, we use a variety of research methods, including meta-analysis, longitudinal modeling, machine learning, big data techniques, and applied psychometrics.
