Definition: When something came into sight.

Sentence: New flowers appeared from the soil.

2. Crops

Definition: Large numbers of plants that are grown for food.

Sentence: The farmer grows crops of corn.

3. Develop

Definition: To grow and change. 

Sentence: The tadpole will develop into a frog.

4. Edge

Definition: The line or border where it begins or ends.

Sentence: The ball rolled off the edge of the table.

5. Golden

Definition: Bright and yellow like gold.

Sentence: The golden sun shone in the blue sky.

6. Rustled

Definition: When something made a soft noise as it moved.

Sentence:  The leaves rustled in the wind.

7. Shining 

Definition: Something that is giving out light. 

Sentence: I was shining the flashlight on my book so I can read at night.

Definition: Steps in a process. 

Sentence: Egg, caterpillar, and butterfly are stages in a butterfly's life.
